Mikayla Klein

Mikayla Klein (Company Dancer) is originally from Saint Paul, Minnesota. She attended the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists and the University of St. Thomas, where she graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Exercise Science. Mikayla has trained with the American Ballet Theater, Black Label Movement and Steps on Broadway Summer Contemporary Series. While in college she trained with the TU Dance Pre-Professional Program under the direction of Toni Pierce Sands and at Pineapple Studios in London, UK while studying abroad. She also teaches and choreographs for studios throughout the country. Mikayla blends her passion of dance and science as a Nationally Certified, Balanced Body Pilates Instructor. She has been recognized as an Equinox Top 50 Pilates instructor. Mikayla met Tiffany Rea Fisher in 2016 and was awarded a full scholarship to Elisa Monte Dance’s first summer series (EMDSS), which she attended from 2017-2019 as a student and subsequently a faculty member. In 2019, Mikayla moved to NYC to begin her two-year apprenticeship with Elisa Monte Dance under the direction of Tiffany Rea-Fisher. Since joining EMERGE125 as a company member, Mikayla has performed at venues including Bryant Park, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Chelsea Factory, The Flea Theater, Dance Theater of Harlem and the Lake Placid Center for the Arts. She is thrilled to begin her second season with EMERGE125 as a company dancer.
