EMERGE125 is the face of Mayor De Blasio’s new initiative called Open Culture with its announcement held on January 8th, 2021. Company members, Tracy Dunbar, Daniela Funicello, Hannah Gross, and Jenny Hegarty Freeman performed Emerged Nation, choreographed by Tiffany Rea-Fisher in the streets of Dumbo, New York for De Blasio, Jimmy Van Bramer and guests.

Set to begin March 1st, Open Culture allows for Arts and cultural institutions to have the opportunity to secure a permit for single day, socially distanced performances at over 100 street locations throughout all five boroughs. The program ends October 31st.
