Dance/NYC
Dance/NYC’s mission is to promote the knowledge, appreciation, practice, and performance of dance in the metropolitan New York City area. It embeds values of justice, equity, and inclusion into all aspects of the organization. It works in alliance with Dance/USA, the national service organization for professional dance.
The International Association of Blacks in Dance (IABD)
IABD preserves and promotes dance by people of African ancestry or origin, and assists and increases opportunities for artists in advocacy, audience development, education, funding, networking, performance, philosophical dialogue, and touring.
IABD values and validates the significant connections and influence that dance by people of African ancestry or origin have on the American and International cultural landscape. We believe in:
The aesthetic and integrity of all forms, genres, methods and styles that have influenced, transformed, and advanced the art of dance and its history.
Providing choreographers and companies an artistic outlet and opportunity to present their work.
The discipline, experience, knowledge, and wisdom that impact youth and the next generation of dance artists.
Creating an environment of exploration and scholarship for administrators, artists, educators, researchers, scholars, production staff, dance-related personnel and writers to learn and grow.
Encouraging meaningful inter-generational exchange of these values between dance masters and emerging artists.

Final Bow for Yellowface
Final Bow for Yellowface was founded by Georgina Pazcoguin, New York City Ballet soloist, and Phil Chan, arts administrator and educator, with a simple pledge,
"I love ballet as an art form, and acknowledge that to achieve a diversity amongst our artists, audiences, donors, students, volunteers, and staff, I am committed to eliminating outdated and offensive stereotypes of Asians (Yellowface) on our stages."
In the spirit of making the ballet more inclusive, we invite you to join us by signing our pledge and committing to speak up against Yellowface on our stages, and working to create more positive and nuanced representations of Asians in ballet.
Alliance of Families for Justice
The Alliance of Families for Justice seeks to end mass incarceration by empowering the formerly incarcerated and their families:
Re-entry support services
Legal support
Advocacy and communication skills training
Voting rights
“Most people in New York prisons come from just seven communities throughout the state,” Soffiyah Elijah, executive director of the Alliance of Families of Justice, says. “Harlem is one of the hardest hit communities.”
FlySpace Physical Therapy
FlySpace is a physical therapy studio in NYC created by performing artists that rehabilitates clients for a pain-free life and teaches high-quality individualized movement tailored to each person’s performance situation. Marissa and her team have taken care of many of E125’s company members when they are in need of physical therapy. We are grateful for their knowledge and services!
"I came to [FlySpace] after a lot of frustration regarding my lower left leg which is a huge problem as I make my living as a dancer. [They were] kind, knowledgeable, patient and most importantly [they] listened to me. I felt instant relief after my first session knowing I was in the right hands."
