Briana Marsiello

Briana Marsiello, (Company Dancer) originally from northern New Jersey, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Montclair State University in 2019, where she received her BFA in Dance Performance. During her time at MSU she had the privilege of performing in works by Fredrick Earl Mosley, Maxine Steinman, Kathleen Kelly, Jessica DiMauro, and Robert Mark Burke. She has also spent summers studying under Parsons Dance, Peridance Blueprint Intensive, and Elisa Monte Dance Summer Series (EMDSS) performing works by David Parsons, Alice Kloch, and Tiffany Rea-Fisher. Briana presented her choreographic works for Arts by the People at Maryland Institute College of the Arts (MICA) under the mentorship of Paul Rabinowitz and Maxine Steinman. She is honored to have been a recipient of the Choreographic Excellence award upon graduation from MSU. Since then she has presented her choreographed work “Cherish” at the 2019 Steps Beyond Foundation's Performance Lab Showcase. Briana has blended her years of dance experience with her passion for Anatomy and Kinesiology to become a Dance Fitness Instructor and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. She has taught at a variety of fitness studios throughout New Jersey and New York and will continue to create an environment where movement is efficient and enjoyable for every body. Briana is thrilled to begin her first season as a company dancer with EMERGE125.
