Pericles: In Concert with Troy Anthony & The Fire Ensemble is a benefit concert featuring Troy Anthony's Obie-Award-winning musical adaptation of William Shakespeare's late romance, Pericles —an epic story of a young prince running from an evil king who struggles to find joy in the midst of grief. Hosted by the composer himself, this concert will feature members of the original cast joined by additional special guests, a 90 person choir, and a 5-piece gospel band. Originally premiered by The Public Theater’s Public Works at St. John The Divine, this concert celebrates all of the creative labor and support that went into creating the show. Featuring EMERGE125 as a cameo group.

Additionally, The Fire Ensemble will celebrate their upcoming five year anniversary by honoring significant supporters with the inaugural Sapphire Awards. Honorees include the late Rev. Yolanda Brown, Tamara McCaw, Juliet Moser, and Mei Ann Teo.
