Repertory Company High School for Theatre Arts

Repertory Company High School for Theatre Arts is a small high school that offers a full academic program and comprehensive theatre arts classes. It is a program designed for students aspiring to work as actors or behind the scenes in the theatre arts field. Our location, in the heart of the New York City theatre district of Times Square, supports our school focus. We offer small classes that allow our students to experience all theatrical disciplines (acting, music, dance, design, and technical theatre). In addition to arts education, students also complete a rigorous academic course load, leading many of our students to graduate with advanced regents diploma with a Chancellor's Arts Endorsement. We expect all our students to maintain high academic standards and be willing to explore all the imagination and creativity of theatre arts.

Student Performers:

National Dance Institute

Since its founding in 1976 by New York City Ballet principal dancer Jacques d’Amboise, National Dance Institute (NDI) has empowered the lives of more than two million children. NDI developed a unique, proven teaching methodology that uses dance and music to improve children’s critical thinking, develop their global perspective, and hone their social-emotional, communication, and collaboration skills. Under the artistic direction of Kay Gayner, NDI has continued to deepen its practices through the lens of inclusion and diversity, and fulfills its core mission of offering its programs to all children at no direct cost to their families.
