Erik Osterkil

Erik Osterkil (he/him) (Company Dancer) is a dancer and choreographer from Fort Wayne, Indiana. He started dancing at the Fort Wayne Dance Collective, and continued his training at the Academy of Movement and Music, the Hubbard Street Youth Dance Program, and the Lou Conte Dance Studio Scholarship Program. In 2021, Erik graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase College with a concentration in Dance Composition and a minor in Arts Management. Erik had the opportunity to study abroad at the Taipei National University of the Arts in 2019, and he has also trained and performed at intensive programs with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, the Joffrey Ballet School, the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, and b12 Berlin Dance Festival. As a guest artist, student, and company dancer, Erik has performed in works by Tiffany Rea-Fisher, José Limón, Jerome Robbins, Norbert De La Cruz III, FLOCK, and Doug Varone, as well as in several classical ballet productions. This is his second season with EMERGE125.
