Holly Hwang Belshaw

Holly Hwang Belshaw (she/her) (Company Dancer) is a dancer and choreographer from Chester County, Pennsylvania. She attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for high school as a contemporary dance major. In 2023, Holly graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase College with a concentration in Dance Composition. She has trained with programs such as Bates Dance Festival, Doug Varone and Dancers, EMERGE125, Gallim, MODULE with Sidra Bell, and Paul Taylor American Modern Dance. She has performed works by Andrea Miller, Doug Varone, Helen Simoneau, Jose Limon, Larry Keigwin, Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham, and Michael Bennett. She also performed the role of Lulu in Virginia Theater Festival’s run of Cabaret, choreographed and directed by Matthew Stephens. This is Holly’s first year with EMERGE125 and she cannot wait to perform and grow with this amazing company!
