ABOUT TIFFANY REA-FISHER

A graduate of SUNY Purchase, a student of Kevin Wynn (Complex Movement) and follower of the work of Virginia Johnson (Dance Theatre of Harlem), Rea-Fisher approaches the dance studio with over 25 years of pedagogy in her field. She describes her specialty style as "contemporary modern with an emphasis on high-level physical technical ability," which means you'll never be so excited to work this hard!

Rea-Fisher's works have been performed at the Joyce, the Apollo, New York City Center, Joe's Pub, the Guggenheim and New York Live Arts. Her recent accomplishments include a 2022 Dance Theatre of Harlem commission and choreographing The Public Theater’s 2023 The Tempest. One of her own dancers recently described Tiffany as having "the unique ability to cultivate a space where both rigor and joy are forever accessible."

A seven-time AUDELCO award nominee, National Dance Project Award winner, and Bessie's Award Selection Committee member, Rea-Fisher received a special citation on behalf of New York City for her cultural contributions. At this opening masterclass of 2025, you'll learn her teaching philosophy and participants will live the EMERGE125 experience in person. Don't miss this deep immersion in athleticism, technique and inimitable swag. Limited slots available now!

Juneteenth March 4M Run, Walk, & Roll

Come run, walk, and roll at this year’s 4 mile route on June 19th, 2025 @ Central Park, NYC, starting at 10AM!

EMERGE125 is proud to be a part of the Annual Juneteenth March founded as a march to New York City Hall in 2020 to highlight multiple injustices and reforms at the center of the city's power. The event was initially started by James Felton Keith and Tiffany Rea-Fisher, two neighbors in Harlem that came together with a larger group of activists weeks earlier and after the murder of George Floyd. It was a beautiful non-violent march from Harlem down 5th Ave to the Upper East Side of Manhattan that grew to thousands of New Yorkers as it moved south.

All proceeds from the Juneteenth March go towards the building fund of the Harlem Center.  The center is a 10-year effort started by a coalition of +30 New York centered, community based organizations (CBOs). Harlem Center will increase the capacity to address unmet needs and gaps in service delivery.

Address: 5th Ave & East 69th Street, New York, NY, 10128

- Start Line
- Terrace Dr right by the Naumburg Bandshell and across from the Bethesda Fountain. (enter from East 72nd)
- March North (on East Drive)
- Around the Harlem Loop

Trinity School Residency

Trinity School Residency

EMERGE125 is currently in residency with Trinity School teaching dance classes to the 3rd Grade students. The residency will culminate in a showcase on March 14th.

Past events at Trinity School included a Harlem Renaissance education outreach event coordinated by E125’s Director of Education, Kat Files. E125 recognizes that in our multicultural state, especially the diverse atmosphere of NYC and its 5 boroughs, arts education serves as a bridge across cultural and language differences and builds connections within and between communities. Executive Artistic Director, Tiffany Rea-Fisher, alongside Company Dancers presented choreography from “Rights of Renaissance,” a work created by Tiffany Rea-Fisher and E125 that pays homage to the Harlem Renaissance. There were 64 students in attendance. Dance education helps students broaden their perspectives and understand their world and the diverse cultural influences that surround them. We hope to continue building a partnership with Trinity School!
