IABD 33rd Annual International Conference

EMERGE125 traveled to Toronto, Canada to participate in the International Association of Blacks in Dance 33rd Annual International Conference! Tiffany Rea-Fisher and Erica Lewis-Blunt participated in the conference's engagements and the company performed Poly String Theory at the Visionaries | Founders & Invited Guests Performance on Saturday, January 28th. Our performance received a standing ovation and other featured guests included:

Lula Washington Dance Theatre, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, PHILADANCO!, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, and Clea Parker Robinson Dance.

In addition, festival participants took contemporary from Tiffany at the on the 1 | a dance class series and learned an excerpt from the E125 piece. We are grateful to IABD for this incredible opportunity and experience!
